Summary:
Parameter corruption in NDIS filter driver in Intel® Online Connect Access 1.9.22.0 allows an unprivileged attacker to cause a denial of service via local system access.
Description:
An external security researcher identified a potential parameter input validation corruption condition that affects Intel® Online Connect Access 1.9.22.0, resulting to a potential denial of service condition or Operating System crash. Loss of sensitive data is not likely due to this issue.
An update has been developed by Intel to resolve this issue.
