**Summary: **

A potential security vulnerability in the Intel® QuickAssist Technology (QAT) Engine for OpenSSL may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Recommendations:

Intel recommends updating Intel® QAT Engine for OpenSSL to version 0.6.16 or later for CentOS, Ubuntu and FreeBSD.
