Red Hat—the world’s leading provider of open source solutions—is excited to announce the successful completion of the Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment of Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).

IRAP is managed by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD). ASD endorses qualified cybersecurity professionals to provide relevant security assessment services which aim to secure broader industry and Australian government systems and data. The IRAP assessment rigorously evaluated ROSA controls and has provided assurance that ROSA aligns with the Australian Information Security Manual (ISM).

CyberCX conducted an extensive assessment of ROSA security controls and has assessed that the platform supports the PROTECTED controls from the ISM. CyberCX is a trusted partner of many Australian government agencies.

“Red Hat is committed to supporting the Australian government to provide digital services to Australian communities that are trusted, helpful and delivered in a more efficient, respectful and transparent manner,” said Brendan Hawke, senior director, Public Sector at Red Hat Australia and New Zealand. “OpenShift is the leading application platform, and with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS IRAP-assessed to PROTECTED, Australians can have greater confidence that digital services delivered on OpenShift meet the high standards they expect from Red Hat and AWS.”

Red Hat customers can request an overview of the IRAP assessment outcomes through their account teams.
