VMware Workspace ONE Boxer contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. VMware has evaluated the severity of this issue to be in the Moderate severity range with a maximum CVSSv3 base score of 6.6.
Due to insufficient sanitization and validation, in VMware Workspace ONE Boxer calendar event descriptions, a malicious actor can inject script tags to execute arbitrary script within a user’s window.
To remediate CVE-2022-22944 apply the patches listed in the ‘Fixed Version’ column of the ‘Response Matrix’ below.
