Summary

A buffer copy without checking size of input vulnerability has been reported to affect certain versions of Multimedia Console. If exploited, the vulnerability could allow clients to execute code via unspecified vectors.

We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions:

• Multimedia Console 2.1.1 (2023/03/29) and later
• Multimedia Console 1.4.7 (2023/03/20) and later

Updating Multimedia Console

1. Log on to QTS as administrator.
2. Open the App Center and then click .
   A search box appears.
3. Type “Multimedia Console” and then press ENTER.
   Multimedia Console appears in the search results.
4. Click Update.
   A confirmation message appears.
   Note: The Update button is not available if your version is already up to date.
5. Click OK.
   The application is updated.
