  • CVE-2023-0229: A flaw was found in github.com/openshift/apiserver-library-go, used in OpenShift 4.12 and 4.11, that contains an issue that can allow low-privileged users to set the seccomp profile for pods they control to “unconfined.” By default, the seccomp profile used in the restricted-v2 Security Context Constraint (SCC) is “runtime/default,” allowing users to disable seccomp for pods they can create and modify.

Red Hat build of MicroShift release 4.12.6 is now available with updates to
packages and images that fix several bugs.

Description

Red Hat build of MicroShift is Red Hat’s light-weight Kubernetes
orchestration solution designed for edge device deployments and is built
from the edge capabilities of Red Hat OpenShift. MicroShift is an
application that is deployed on top of Red Hat Enterprise Linux devices at
the edge, providing an efficient way to operate single-node clusters in
these low-resource environments.

This advisory contains the RPM packages for Red Hat build of MicroShift
