GHSA-jmvp-698c-4x3w: Argo CD Unauthenticated Denial of Service (DoS) Vulnerability via /api/webhook Endpoint

### Summary This report details a security vulnerability in Argo CD, where an unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted large JSON payload to the /api/webhook endpoint, causing excessive memory allocation that leads to service disruption by triggering an Out Of Memory (OOM) kill. The issue poses a high risk to the availability of Argo CD deployments. ### Details The webhook server always listens to requests. By default, the endpoint doesn't require authentication. It's possible to send a large, malicious request with headers (in this case "X-GitHub-Event: push") that will make ArgoCD start allocating memory to parse the incoming request. Since the request can be constructed client-side without allocating large amounts of memory, it can be arbitrarily large. Eventually, the argocd-server component will get OOMKilled as it consumes all its available memory. The fix would be to enforce a limit on the size of the request being parsed. ### PoC Port-forward to the argocd-serve...

CVE-2023-41593: What is cross-site scripting (XSS) and how to prevent it? | Web Security Academy

CVE-2023-34575: [CVE-2023-34575] Improper neutralization of SQL parameter in Opart Save Cart for PrestaShop

SQL injection vulnerability in PrestaShop opartsavecart through 2.0.7 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary SQL commands via OpartSaveCartDefaultModuleFrontController::initContent() and OpartSaveCartDefaultModuleFrontController::displayAjaxSendCartByEmail() methods.

CVE-2022-28550: Merge branch 'master' of git+ssh://192.168.0.20/home/serv/jhead · Matthias-Wandel/jhead@64894db

Matthias-Wandel/jhead jhead 3.06 is vulnerable to Buffer Overflow via shellescape(), jhead.c, jhead. jhead copies strings to a stack buffer when it detects a &i or &o. However, jhead does not check the boundary of the stack buffer. As a result, there will be a stack buffer overflow problem when multiple `&i` or `&o` are given.

GHSA-jmp3-39vp-fwg8: Wagtail regular expression denial-of-service via search query parsing

### Impact A bug in Wagtail's [`parse_query_string`](https://docs.wagtail.org/en/stable/topics/search/searching.html#wagtailsearch-query-string-parsing) would result in it taking a long time to process suitably crafted inputs. When used to parse sufficiently long strings of characters without a space, `parse_query_string` would take an unexpectedly large amount of time to process, resulting in a denial of service. In an initial Wagtail installation, the vulnerability can be exploited by any Wagtail admin user. It cannot be exploited by end users. If your Wagtail site has a custom search implementation which uses `parse_query_string`, it may be exploitable by other users (e.g. unauthenticated users). ### Patches Patched versions have been released as Wagtail 5.2.6, 6.0.6 and 6.1.3. This vulnerability affects all unpatched versions from Wagtail 2.0 onwards. ### Workarounds Site owners who are unable to upgrade to a patched version can limit the length of search terms passed to `pa...

CVE-2023-34252: grav/system/src/Grav/Common/Twig/Extension/GravExtension.php at 1.7.40 · getgrav/grav

Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to version 1.7.42, there is a logic flaw in the `GravExtension.filterFilter()` function whereby validation against a denylist of unsafe functions is only performed when the argument passed to filter is a string. However, passing an array as a callable argument allows the validation check to be skipped. Consequently, a low privileged attacker with login access to Grav Admin panel and page creation/update permissions is able to inject malicious templates to obtain remote code execution. The vulnerability can be found in the `GravExtension.filterFilter()` function declared in `/system/src/Grav/Common/Twig/Extension/GravExtension.php`. Version 1.7.42 contains a patch for this issue. End users should also ensure that `twig.undefined_functions` and `twig.undefined_filters` properties in `/path/to/webroot/system/config/system.yaml` configuration file are set to `false` to disallow Twig from treating undefined filters/functions as PHP functions and exec...

AlienFox Malware Targets API Keys and Secrets from AWS, Google, and Microsoft Cloud Services

A new "comprehensive toolset" called AlienFox is being distributed on Telegram as a way for threat actors to harvest credentials from API keys and secrets from popular cloud service providers. "The spread of AlienFox represents an unreported trend towards attacking more minimal cloud services, unsuitable for crypto mining, in order to enable and expand subsequent campaigns," SentinelOne security
