# Description When using the filesystem loader to load templates for which the name is a user input, it is possible to use the `source` or `include` statement to read arbitrary files from outside the templates directory when using a namespace like `@somewhere/../some.file` (in such a case, validation is bypassed). # Resolution We fixed validation for such template names. Even if the 1.x branch is not maintained anymore, a new version has been released. # Credits We would like to thank Dariusz Tytko for reporting the issue and Fabien Potencier for fixing the issue.
### Impact This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Orckestra C1 CMS. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. ### Impact A XSS vulnerability in the provided (outdated) Swagger-UI is exploitable in applications using lithium with Swagger-UI enabled. ### Impact An attacker cooperating with a malicious homeserver can construct messages that legitimately appear to have come from another person, without any indication such as a grey shield. Additionally, a sophisticated attacker cooperating with a malicious homeserver could employ this vulnerability to perform a targeted attack in order to send fake to-device messages appearing to originate from another user. This can allow, for example, to inject the key backup secret during a self-verification, to make a targeted device start using a malicious key backup spoofed by the homeserver. matrix-android-sdk2 would then additionally sign such a key backup with its device key, spilling trust over to other devices trusting the matrix-android-sdk2 device. This attack is possible due to the matrix-android-sdk2 implementing a too permissive [key forwarding](https://spec.matrix.org/v1.3/client-server-api/#key-requests) strategy on the receiving end. Key forwarding is a mechanism allowing clients to recover from “unable to decrypt” messages when they missed the initial key distribution, at the time the message was originally sent. Examples include accessing message history before they joined the room but also when some network/federation errors have occurred. ### Patches The default policy for accepting key forwards has been made more strict in the matrix-android-sdk2. ### Impact In all the versions of NuProcess where it forks processes by using the JVM's Java_java_lang_UNIXProcess_forkAndExec method (1.2.0+), attackers can use NUL characters in their strings to perform command line injection. Java's ProcessBuilder isn't vulnerable because of a check in ProcessBuilder.start. NuProcess is missing that check. This vulnerability can only be exploited to inject command line arguments on Linux. - On macOS, any argument with a NUL character is truncated at that character. This means the malicious arguments are never seen by the started process. - On Windows, the entire command line is truncated at the first NUL character. This means the malicious arguments, and any intentional arguments provided after them, are never seen by the started process. ### Patches 2.0.5 ### Workarounds Users of the library can sanitize command strings to remove NUL characters prior to passing them to NuProcess for execution. ### References None.

ikus060/rdiffweb prior to 2.4.9 allows a user to set there password to all spaces. While rdiffweb has a password policy requiring passwords to be between 8 and 128 characters, it does not validate the password entropy, allowing users to bypass password complexity requirements with weak passwords. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.9. No workarounds are known to exist.
