Red Hat Security Advisory 2024-8928-03

Red Hat Security Advisory 2024-8928-03 - An update for mod_jk is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 Update Services for SAP Solutions. Issues addressed include denial of service and information leakage vulnerabilities.

ABB Cylon Aspect 3.08.00 Off-By-One

A vulnerability was identified in a ABB Cylon Aspect version 3.08.00 where an off-by-one error in array access could lead to undefined behavior and potential denial of service. The issue arises in a loop that iterates over an array using a less than or equals to condition, allowing access to an out-of-bounds index. This can trigger errors or unexpected behavior when processing data, potentially crashing the application. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a crash or disruption of service, especially if the script handles large data sets.

GHSA-3hxg-fxwm-8gf7: CRLF injection in Refit's [Header], [HeaderCollection] and [Authorize] attributes

### Summary The various header-related Refit attributes (Header, HeaderCollection and Authorize) are vulnerable to CRLF injection. ### Details The way HTTP headers are added to a request is via the `HttpHeaders.TryAddWithoutValidation` method: <https://github.com/reactiveui/refit/blob/258a771f44417c6e48e103ac921fe4786f3c2a1e/Refit/RequestBuilderImplementation.cs#L1328> This method does not check for CRLF characters in the header value. This means that any headers added to a refit request are vulnerable to CRLF-injection. In general, CRLF-injection into a HTTP header (when using HTTP/1.1) means that one can inject additional HTTP headers or smuggle whole HTTP requests. ### PoC The below example code creates a console app that takes one command line variable (a bearer token) and then makes a request to some status page with the provided token inserted in the "Authorization" header: ```c# using Refit; internal class Program { private static void Main(string[] args) { ...

IBM Security Verify Access 32 Vulnerabilities

IBM Security Verify Access versions prior to 10.0.8 suffer from authentication bypass, reuse of private keys, local privilege escalation, weak settings, outdated libraries, missing password, hardcoded secrets, remote code execution, missing authentication, null pointer dereference, and lack of privilege separation vulnerabilities.

GHSA-752q-72qc-rc66: Apache Kylin Session Fixation vulnerability

Session Fixation vulnerability in Apache Kylin. This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 2.0.0 through 4.x. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.0 or above, which fixes the issue.

ABB Cylon Aspect 3.08.01 File Upload MD5 Checksum Bypass

ABB Cylon Aspect version 3.08.01 has a vulnerability in caldavInstall.php, caldavInstallAgendav.php, and caldavUpload.php files, where the presence of an EXPERTMODE parameter activates a badassMode feature. This mode allows an unauthenticated attacker to bypass MD5 checksum validation during file uploads. By enabling badassMode and setting the skipChecksum parameter, the system skips integrity verification, allowing attackers to upload or install altered CalDAV zip files without authentication. This vulnerability permits unauthorized file modifications, potentially exposing the system to tampering or malicious uploads.

Red Hat Security Advisory 2024-8680-03

Red Hat Security Advisory 2024-8680-03 - An update for mod_http2 is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. Issues addressed include denial of service and null pointer vulnerabilities.

GHSA-2qw8-ppr5-m96c: Apache Lucene.Net.Replicator Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability

Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Lucene.Net.Replicator. This issue affects Apache Lucene.NET's Replicator library: from 4.8.0-beta00005 through 4.8.0-beta00016. An attacker that can intercept traffic between a replication client and server, or control the target replication node URL, can provide a specially-crafted JSON response that is deserialized as an attacker-provided exception type. This can result in remote code execution or other potential unauthorized access. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.8.0-beta00017, which fixes the issue.

ABB Cylon Aspect 3.08.01 jsonProxy.php Username Enumeration

ABB Cylon Aspect version 3.08.01 is vulnerable to username enumeration in the jsonProxy.php endpoint. An unauthenticated attacker can interact with the UserManager servlet to enumerate valid usernames on the system. Since jsonProxy.php proxies requests to internal services without requiring authentication, attackers can gain unauthorized insights into valid usernames.
