A buffer overflow issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Ventura 13.5.2, iOS 16.6.1 and iPadOS 16.6.1. Processing a maliciously crafted image may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.

Adobe Photoshop versions 23.0.2 and 22.5.4 (and earlier) are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious JPG file.

Debian Linux Security Advisory 5490-1 - Multiple security vulnerabilities have been discovered in aom, the AV1 Video Codec Library. Buffer overflows, use-after-free and NULL pointer dereferences may cause a denial of service or other unspecified impact if a malformed multimedia file is processed.

Acrobat Reader DC versions 2021.005.20060 (and earlier), 2020.004.30006 (and earlier) and 2017.011.30199 (and earlier) are affected by a Use After Free vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
