CVE-2023-35628: Windows MSHTML Platform Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

**Is the Preview Pane an attack vector for this vulnerability?** The attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted email which triggers automatically when it is retrieved and processed by the Outlook client. This could lead to exploitation BEFORE the email is viewed in the Preview Pane.

CVE-2023-35634: Windows Bluetooth Driver Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

**How could an attacker exploit this vulnerability?** An unauthorized attacker could exploit the Windows Bluetooth driver vulnerability by programmatically running certain functions that could lead to remote code execution on the Bluetooth component.

CVE-2023-35630: Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

**According to the CVSS score, the attack vector is adjacent (AV:A). What does this mean for this vulnerability?** This attack is limited to systems connected to the same network segment as the attacker. The attack cannot be performed across multiple networks (for example, a WAN) and would be limited to systems on the same network switch or virtual network.

CVE-2023-35641: Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

CVE-2023-35639: Microsoft ODBC Driver Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

**How could an attacker exploit this vulnerability?** An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by tricking an authenticated user into attempting to connect to a malicious SQL server via OLEDB, which could result in the server receiving a malicious networking packet. This could allow the attacker to execute code remotely on the client.

CVE-2023-21740: Windows Media Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

**According to the CVSS metric, user interaction is required (UI:R). What interaction would the user have to do?** Exploitation of the vulnerability requires that a user open a specially crafted file. * In an email attack scenario, an attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending the specially crafted file to the user and convincing the user to open the file. * In a web-based attack scenario, an attacker could host a website (or leverage a compromised website that accepts or hosts user-provided content) containing a specially crafted file designed to exploit the vulnerability. An attacker would have no way to force users to visit the website. Instead, an attacker would have to convince users to click a link, typically by way of an enticement in an email or instant message, and then convince them to open the specially crafted file.

CVE-2023-36006: Microsoft WDAC OLE DB provider for SQL Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

New Critical RCE Vulnerability Discovered in Apache Struts 2 - Patch Now

Apache has released a security advisory warning of a critical security flaw in the Struts 2 open-source web application framework that could result in remote code execution. Tracked as CVE-2023-50164, the vulnerability is rooted in a flawed "file upload logic" that could enable unauthorized path traversal and could be exploited under the circumstances to upload a malicious file

CVE-2023-49964: Try Alfresco Content Services Community now

An issue was discovered in Hyland Alfresco Community Edition through 7.2.0. By inserting malicious content in the folder.get.html.ftl file, an attacker may perform SSTI (Server-Side Template Injection) attacks, which can leverage FreeMarker exposed objects to bypass restrictions and achieve RCE (Remote Code Execution). NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2020-12873.
