****Summary****

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affects the Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) application login page. This allows un-authenticated remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script into the HTTP parameter which reflects the user input without sanitization due to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79).

****Affected Versions****

Veritas Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) Versions 9.7, 9.6, 9.5, 9.4, 9.3.3, 9.3.2, 9.3.1, 9.3, 9.2, 9.1. Earlier unsupported versions may be affected as well.

Remediation

Customers under a current maintenance contract should update to the Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) Version 9.8.
