CVE-2023-20109: Cisco Security Advisory: Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software Cisco Group Encrypted Transport VPN Software Out-of-Bounds Write Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the Cisco Group Encrypted Transport VPN (GET VPN) feature of Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker who has administrative control of either a group member or a key server to execute arbitrary code on an affected device or cause the device to crash. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of attributes in the Group Domain of Interpretation (GDOI) and G-IKEv2 protocols of the GET VPN feature. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by either compromising an installed key server or modifying the configuration of a group member to point to a key server that is controlled by the attacker. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code and gain full control of the affected system or cause the affected system to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. For more information, see the Details ["#details"] section of this advisory.

CVE-2023-0164: GitHub - Orangescrum/orangescrum: Orangescrum is a simple yet powerful free and open source project management software that helps team to organize their tasks, projects and deliver more.

OrangeScrum version 2.0.11 allows an authenticated external attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the server. This is possible because the application injects an attacker-controlled parameter into a system function.

CVE-2023-0738: GitHub - Orangescrum/orangescrum: Orangescrum is a simple yet powerful free and open source project management software that helps team to organize their tasks, projects and deliver more.

OrangeScrum version 2.0.11 allows an external attacker to obtain arbitrary user accounts from the application. This is possible because the application returns malicious user input in the response with the content-type set to text/html.

Iranian Cyber Espionage Group Targets Financial and Government Sectors in Middle East

A threat actor affiliated with Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) has been observed waging a sophisticated cyber espionage campaign targeting financial, government, military, and telecommunications sectors in the Middle East for at least a year. CVE-2023-0196: Security Bulletin: NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit - March 2023

NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit SDK contains a bug in cuobjdump, where a local user running the tool against an ill-formed binary may cause a null- pointer dereference, which may result in a limited denial of service.

CVE-2023-41039: Sandbox escape via various forms of "format".

RestrictedPython is a restricted execution environment for Python to run untrusted code. Python's "format" functionality allows someone controlling the format string to "read" all objects accessible through recursive attribute lookup and subscription from objects he can access. This can lead to critical information disclosure. With `RestrictedPython`, the format functionality is available via the `format` and `format_map` methods of `str` (and `unicode`) (accessed either via the class or its instances) and via `string.Formatter`. All known versions of `RestrictedPython` are vulnerable. This issue has been addressed in commit `4134aedcff1` which has been included in the 5.4 and 6.2 releases. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

Camaro Dragon Strikes with New TinyNote Backdoor for Intelligence Gathering

The Chinese nation-stage group known as Camaro Dragon has been linked to yet another backdoor that's designed to meet its intelligence-gathering goals. GHSA-2482-gr3v-f3f3: Jenkins Fogbugz Plugin has missing permissions check

Jenkins Fogbugz Plugin provides a webhook endpoint at `/fbTrigger/` that can be used to trigger builds of any jobs. In Fogbugz Plugin 2.2.17 and earlier, this endpoint can be accessed by attackers with Item/Read permission, allowing them to trigger builds of jobs specified in a `jobname` request parameter.
