CVE-2023-27132: TSPlus 16.0.0.0 Insecure Credential Storage ≈ Packet Storm

CVE-2023-27133: TSPlus 16.0.0.0 Insecure Permissions ≈ Packet Storm

TSplus Remote Work 16.0.0.0 has weak permissions for .exe, .js, and .html files under the %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\TSplus-RemoteWork\Clients\www folder. This may enable privilege escalation if a different local user modifies a file. NOTE: CVE-2023-31067 and CVE-2023-31068 are only about the TSplus Remote Access product, not the TSplus Remote Work product.

Squid Caching Proxy 55 Vulnerabilities

Two and a half years ago an independent audit was performed on the Squid Caching Proxy, which ultimately resulted in 55 vulnerabilities being discovered in the project's C++ source code. Although some of the issues have been fixed, the majority (35) remain valid. The majority have not been assigned CVEs, and no patches or workarounds are available. Some of the listed issues concern more than one bug, which is why 45 issues are listed, despite there being 55 vulnerabilities in total (10 extra of the result of similar, but different pathways to reproduce a vulnerability). After two and a half years of waiting, the researcher has decided to release the issues publicly.

Critical Vulnerabilities Uncovered in Open Source CasaOS Cloud Software

Two critical security flaws discovered in the open-source CasaOS personal cloud software could be successfully exploited by attackers to achieve arbitrary code execution and take over susceptible systems. GHSA-72q2-gwwf-6hrv: OpenSearch Issue with tenant read-only permissions

### Impact There is an issue with the implementation of tenant permissions in OpenSearch Dashboards where authenticated users with read-only access to a tenant can perform create, edit and delete operations on index metadata of dashboards and visualizations in that tenant, potentially rendering them unavailable. This issue does not affect index data, only metadata. Dashboards correctly enforces read-only permissions when indexing and updating documents. This issue does not provide additional read access to data users don’t already have. ### Mitigation This issue can be mitigated by disabling the tenants functionality for the cluster. GHSA-8wx3-324g-w4qq: OpenSearch uncontrolled resource consumption

### Impact An issue has been identified with how OpenSearch handled incoming requests on the HTTP layer. An unauthenticated user could force an OpenSearch node to exit with an OutOfMemory error by sending a moderate number of malformed HTTP requests. GHSA-267v-3v32-g6q5: Cross-site Scripting via missing Binding syntax validation

### Impact The package does not validate the ACS Location URI according to the SAML binding being parsed. If abused, this flaw allows attackers to register malicious Service Providers at the IdP and inject Javascript in the ACS endpoint definition, achieving Cross-Site-Scripting (XSS) in the IdP context during the redirection at the end of a SAML SSO Flow. Consequently, an attacker may perform any authenticated action as the victim once the victim’s browser loaded the SAML IdP initiated SSO link for the malicious service provider. Note: The severity is considered “High” because the SP registration is commonly an unrestricted operation in IdPs, hence not requiring particular permissions or publicly accessible to ease the IdP interoperability. ### Patches This issue is fixed in 0.4.14 ### Workarounds Users of the package can perform external validation of URLs provided in SAML metadata, or restrict the ability for end-users to upload arbitrary metadata. ### References This iss...
