GHSA-r9px-m959-cxf4: go-git clients vulnerable to DoS via maliciously crafted Git server replies

### Impact A denial of service (DoS) vulnerability was discovered in go-git versions prior to `v5.13`. This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform denial of service attacks by providing specially crafted responses from a Git server which triggers resource exhaustion in `go-git` clients. This is a `go-git` implementation issue and does not affect the upstream `git` cli. ### Patches Users running versions of `go-git` from `v4` and above are recommended to upgrade to `v5.13` in order to mitigate this vulnerability. ### Workarounds In cases where a bump to the latest version of `go-git` is not possible, we recommend limiting its use to only trust-worthy Git servers. ## Credit Thanks to Ionut Lalu for responsibly disclosing this vulnerability to us.

### Impact A Denial of Service (DoS) attack allows attackers to construct requests that leaves requests to Server Actions hanging until the hosting provider cancels the function execution. _Note: Next.js server is idle during that time and only keeps the connection open. CPU and memory footprint are low during that time._ Deployments without any protection against long running Server Action invocations are especially vulnerable. Hosting providers like Vercel or Netlify set a default maximum duration on function execution to reduce the risk of excessive billing. This is the same issue as if the incoming HTTP request has an invalid `Content-Length` header or never closes. If the host has no other mitigations to those then this vulnerability is novel. This vulnerability affects only Next.js deployments using Server Actions. ### Patches This vulnerability was resolved in Next.js 14.2.21, 15.1.2, and 13.5.8. The ABB Cylon Aspect BMS/BAS controller suffers from an authenticated arbitrary content injection vulnerability in the webServerDeviceLabelUpdate.php script due to a lack of input validation. This vulnerability arises when user-provided inputs in FAQ entries are not sanitized or escaped before being rendered on the page. ### Details An attacker can inject malicious HTML content into the FAQ editor at http://localhost/admin/index.php?action=editentry, resulting in a complete disruption of the FAQ page's user interface.
