GHSA-p4g4-wgrh-qrg2: Improper Input Validation in etcd

### Vulnerability type Data Validation ### Detail The size of a record is stored in the length field of a WAL file and no additional validation is done on this data. Therefore, it is possible to forge an extremely large frame size that can unintentionally panic at the expense of any RAFT participant trying to decode the WAL. ### References Find out more on this vulnerability in the [security audit report](https://github.com/etcd-io/etcd/blob/master/security/SECURITY_AUDIT.pdf) ### For more information If you have any questions or comments about this advisory: * Contact the [etcd security committee](https://github.com/etcd-io/etcd/blob/master/security/security-release-process.md#product-security-committee-psc)

CVE-2022-47419: Multiple DMS XSS (CVE-2022-47412 through CVE-20222-47419)

An XSS vulnerability was discovered in the Mayan EDMS DMS. Successful XSS exploitation was observed in the in-product tagging system.

CVE-2023-24813: URI validation failure on SVG parsing (Bypass of CVE-2023-23924)

Dompdf is an HTML to PDF converter written in php. Due to the difference in the attribute parser of Dompdf and php-svg-lib, an attacker can still call arbitrary URLs with arbitrary protocols. Dompdf parses the href attribute of `image` tags and respects `xlink:href` even if `href` is specified. However, php-svg-lib, which is later used to parse the svg file, parses the href attribute. Since `href` is respected if both `xlink:href` and `href` is specified, it's possible to bypass the protection on the Dompdf side by providing an empty `xlink:href` attribute. An attacker can exploit the vulnerability to call arbitrary URLs with arbitrary protocols if they provide an SVG file to the Dompdf. In PHP versions before 8.0.0, it leads to arbitrary unserialize, which will lead, at the very least, to arbitrary file deletion and might lead to remote code execution, depending on available classes. This vulnerability has been addressed in commit `95009ea98` which has been included in release version...

GHSA-56gj-mvh6-rp75: URI validation failure on SVG parsing. Bypass of CVE-2023-23924

### Summary Due to the difference in the attribute parser of Dompdf and php-svg-lib, an attacker can still call arbitrary URLs with arbitrary protocols. ### Details Dompdf parses the href attribute of `image` tags with the following code: [`src/Image/Cache.php` line 135-150](https://github.com/dompdf/dompdf/blob/2a8a6b80fcaa5148ace50f35a10979fe00c6a35d/src/Image/Cache.php#L135-L150) ``` php function ($parser, $name, $attributes) use ($options, $parsed_url, $full_url) { if (strtolower($name) === "image") { $attributes = array_change_key_case($attributes, CASE_LOWER); $url = $attributes["xlink:href"] ?? $attributes["href"]; if (!empty($url)) { $inner_full_url = Helpers::build_url($parsed_url["protocol"], $parsed_url["host"], $parsed_url["path"], $url); if ($inner_full_url === $full_url) { throw new ImageException("SVG self-reference is not allowed", E_WARNING); } [$resolved_url, $type, $message]...

Debian Security Advisory 5341-1

Debian Linux Security Advisory 5341-1 - Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in the WebKitGTK web engine. Francisco Alonso discovered that processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. YeongHyeon Choi, Hyeon Park, SeOk JEON, YoungSung Ahn, JunSeo Bae and Dohyun Lee discovered that processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution.

CVE-2023-24808: Denial Of Service when opening a corrupt PDF file

PDFio is a C library for reading and writing PDF files. In versions prior to 1.1.0 a denial of service (DOS) vulnerability exists in the pdfio parser. Crafted pdf files can cause the program to run at 100% utilization and never terminate. The pdf which causes this crash found in testing is about 28kb in size and was discovered via fuzzing. Anyone who uses this library either as a standalone binary or as a library can be DOSed when attempting to parse this type of file. Web servers or other automated processes which rely on this code to turn pdf submissions into plaintext can be DOSed when an attacker uploads the pdf. Please see the linked GHSA for an example pdf. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

CVE-2022-4321

The PDF Generator for WordPress plugin before 1.1.2 includes a vendored dompdf example file which is susceptible to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting and could be used against high privilege users such as admin

CVE-2022-4670

The PDF.js Viewer WordPress plugin before 2.1.8 does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page/post where the shortcode is embed, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

CVE-2023-0143

The Send PDF for Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin before 0.9.9.2 does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in the page, which could allow users with a role as low as contributor to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks which could be used against high privilege users such as admins.
