CVE-2023-2183: Broken Access Control in Alert manager | Grafana Labs

Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. The option to send a test alert is not available from the user panel UI for users having the Viewer role. It is still possible for a user with the Viewer role to send a test alert using the API as the API does not check access to this function. This might enable malicious users to abuse the functionality by sending multiple alert messages to e-mail and Slack, spamming users, prepare Phishing attack or block SMTP server. Users may upgrade to version 9.5.3, 9.4.12, 9.3.15, 9.2.19 and 8.5.26 to receive a fix.

CVE
CVE-2022-24884: verify: fix signature verification (CVE-2022-24884) · freifunk-gluon/ecdsautils@1d4b091

ecdsautils is a tiny collection of programs used for ECDSA (keygen, sign, verify). `ecdsa_verify_[prepare_]legacy()` does not check whether the signature values `r` and `s` are non-zero. A signature consisting only of zeroes is always considered valid, making it trivial to forge signatures. Requiring multiple signatures from different public keys does not mitigate the issue: `ecdsa_verify_list_legacy()` will accept an arbitrary number of such forged signatures. Both the `ecdsautil verify` CLI command and the libecdsautil library are affected. The issue has been fixed in ecdsautils 0.4.1. All older versions of ecdsautils (including versions before the split into a library and a CLI utility) are vulnerable.

GHSA-c7pc-pgf6-mfh5: ezplatform-graphql GraphQL queries can expose password hashes

### Impact Unauthenticated GraphQL queries for user accounts can expose password hashes of users that have created or modified content, typically but not necessarily limited to administrators and editors. ### Patches Resolving versions: Ibexa DXP v1.0.13, v2.3.12 ### Workarounds Remove the "passwordHash" entry from "src/bundle/Resources/config/graphql/User.types.yaml" in the GraphQL package, and other properties like hash type, email, login if you prefer. ### References This issue was reported to us by Philippe Tranca ("trancap") of the company Lexfo. CVE-2023-5615: Skype Legacy Buttons <= 3.1 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Shortcode — Wordfence Intelligence

The Skype Legacy Buttons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'skype-status' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Atlassian Confluence Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution

This Metasploit module exploits an improper input validation issue in Atlassian Confluence, allowing arbitrary HTTP parameters to be translated into getter/setter sequences via the XWorks2 middleware and in turn allows for Java objects to be modified at run time. The exploit will create a new administrator user and upload a malicious plugins to get arbitrary code execution. All versions of Confluence between 8.0.0 through to 8.3.2, 8.4.0 through to 8.4.2, and 8.5.0 through to 8.5.1 are affected.

CVE-2022-41972: Add missing NULL check in ble-l2cap by nvt · Pull Request #2253 · contiki-ng/contiki-ng

Contiki-NG is an open-source, cross-platform operating system for Next-Generation IoT devices. Versions prior to 4.9 contain a NULL Pointer Dereference in BLE L2CAP module. The Contiki-NG operating system for IoT devices contains a Bluetooth Low Energy stack. An attacker can inject a packet in this stack, which causes the implementation to dereference a NULL pointer and triggers undefined behavior. More specifically, while processing the L2CAP protocol, the implementation maps an incoming channel ID to its metadata structure. In this structure, state information regarding credits is managed through calls to the function input_l2cap_credit in the module os/net/mac/ble/ble-l2cap.c. Unfortunately, the input_l2cap_credit function does not check that the metadata corresponding to the user-supplied channel ID actually exists, which can lead to the channel variable being set to NULL before a pointer dereferencing operation is performed. The vulnerability has been patched in the "develop" bran...
