CVE-2021-30807: About the security content of watchOS 7.6.1

A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.5.1, iOS 14.7.1 and iPadOS 14.7.1, watchOS 7.6.1. An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.

CVE-2021-30838: About the security content of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15

A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. A malicious application may be able to execute arbitrary code with system privileges on devices with an Apple Neural Engine.

Patch Tuesday, October 2021 Edition

Microsoft today issued updates to plug more than 70 security holes in its Windows operating systems and other software, including one vulnerability that is already being exploited in active attacks. This month's Patch Tuesday also includes security fixes for the newly released Windows 11 operating system.

A stack-based buffer overflow in the httpd server on Tenda AC9 V15.03.06.60_EN allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (DoS) via a crafted POST request to /goform/SetStaticRouteCfg.

Microsoft Patch Tuesday, September 2021 Edition

Microsoft today pushed software updates to plug dozens of security holes in Windows and related products, including a vulnerability that is already being exploited in active attacks. Also, Apple has issued an emergency update to fix a flaw that's reportedly been abused to install spyware on iOS products, and Google's got a new version of Chrome that tackles two zero-day flaws. Finally, Adobe has released critical security updates for Acrobat, Reader and a slew of other software.

CVE-2021-1815: About the security content of iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5

A parsing issue in the handling of directory paths was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.3, iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, tvOS 14.5. A local user may be able to modify protected parts of the file system.

CVE-2021-28561: Adobe Security Bulletin

Acrobat Reader DC versions versions 2021.001.20150 (and earlier), 2020.001.30020 (and earlier) and 2017.011.30194 (and earlier) are affected by a memory corruption vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

CVE-2021-39272: NO STARTTLS

Fetchmail before 6.4.22 fails to enforce STARTTLS session encryption in some circumstances, such as a certain situation with IMAP and PREAUTH.
