Details have emerged about a now-patched vulnerability in Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers that, if successfully exploited, could have made it possible to siphon files containing confidential data. "The issue arose from the way the browser interacted with symlinks when processing files and directories," Imperva researcher Ron Masas said. "Specifically, the browser did not properly check
Omniverse Kit contains a vulnerability in the reference applications Create, Audio2Face, Isaac Sim, View, Code, and Machinima. These applications allow executable Python code to be embedded in Universal Scene Description (USD) files to customize all aspects of a scene. If a user opens a USD file that contains embedded Python code in one of these applications, the embedded Python code automatically runs with the privileges of the user who opened the file. As a result, an unprivileged remote attacker could craft a USD file containing malicious Python code and persuade a local user to open the file, which may lead to information disclosure, data tampering, and denial of service.
### Impact The Solr-based search suggestion provider that also duplicates as generic JavaScript API for search results in XWiki exposes the content of all documents of all wikis to anybody who has access to it, by default it is public. This exposes all information stored in the wiki (but not some protected information like password hashes). While there is a right check normally, the right check can be circumvented by explicitly requesting fields from Solr that don't include the data for the right check. This can be reproduced by opening `<xwiki-server>/xwiki/bin/get/XWiki/SuggestSolrService?outputSyntax=plain&media=json&nb=1000&query=q%3D*%3A*%0Aq.op%3DAND%0Afq%3Dtype%3ADOCUMENT%0Afl%3Dtitle_%2C+reference%2C+links%2C+doccontentraw_%2C+objcontent__&input=+` where `<xwiki-server>` is the URL of the XWiki installation. If this displays any results, the wiki is vulnerable. ### Patches This has been fixed in XWiki 15.6RC1, 15.5.1 and 14.10.15 by not listing documents whose rights cannot be...

Forge (also called `node-forge`) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to version 1.3.0, RSA PKCS#1 v1.5 signature verification code does not properly check `DigestInfo` for a proper ASN.1 structure. This can lead to successful verification with signatures that contain invalid structures but a valid digest. The issue has been addressed in `node-forge` version 1.3.0. There are currently no known workarounds.
Ubuntu Security Notice 6255-1 - It was discovered that the IP-VLAN network driver for the Linux kernel did not properly initialize memory in some situations, leading to an out-of- bounds write vulnerability. An attacker could use this to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code. Mingi Cho discovered that the netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel did not properly validate the status of a nft chain while performing a lookup by id, leading to a use-after-free vulnerability. An attacker could use this to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code.
### Impact The Apollo Router is a configurable, high-performance graph router written in Rust to run a federated supergraph that uses Apollo Federation. Affected versions are subject to a Denial-of-Service (DoS) type vulnerability which causes the Router to panic and terminate when a multi-part response is sent. When users send queries to the router that uses the `@defer` or Subscriptions, the Router will panic. To be vulnerable, users of Router must have a coprocessor with `coprocessor.supergraph.response` configured in their `router.yaml` and also to support either `@defer` or Subscriptions. ### Patches Router version 1.33.0 has a fix for this vulnerability. https://github.com/apollographql/router/pull/4014 fixes the issue. ### Workarounds For affected versions, avoid using the coprocessor supergraph response: ```yml # do not use this stage in your coprocessor configuration coprocessor: supergraph: response: ``` Or you can disable defer and subscriptions support: ```y...

The YourChannel plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized loss of data due to a missing capability check when resetting plugin settings via the yrc_nuke GET parameter in versions up to, and including, 1.2.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete YouTube channels from the plugin.
The RapidLoad Power-Up for Autoptimize plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized loss of data due to a missing capability check on the clear_page_cache function in versions up to, and including, 1.7.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access to delete the plugin's cache.
