A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Monterey 12.1, Security Update 2021-008 Catalina, macOS Big Sur 11.6.2. A malicious application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.

CVE-2021-30922: About the security content of macOS Big Sur 11.6.1

Multiple out-of-bounds write issues were addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.6.1. A malicious application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.

CVE-2021-30935: About the security content of macOS Big Sur 11.6.2

A logic issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in Security Update 2021-008 Catalina, macOS Big Sur 11.6.2. An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.

CVE-2021-21827: TALOS-2021-1291 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the XML Decompression DecodeTreeBlock functionality of AT&T Labs Xmill 0.7. Within `DecodeTreeBlock` which is called during the decompression of an XMI file, a UINT32 is loaded from the file and used as trusted input as the length of a buffer. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2021-21823: TALOS-2021-1288 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the Friend finder functionality of GmbH Komoot version 10.26.9 up to 11.1.11. A specially crafted series of network requests can lead to the disclosure of sensitive information.

CVE-2021-21781: TALOS-2021-1243 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the ARM SIGPAGE functionality of Linux Kernel v5.4.66 and v5.4.54. The latest version (5.11-rc4) seems to still be vulnerable. A userland application can read the contents of the sigpage, which can leak kernel memory contents. An attacker can read a process’s memory at a specific offset to trigger this vulnerability. This was fixed in kernel releases: 4.14.222 4.19.177 5.4.99 5.10.17 5.11

CVE-2021-21868: TALOS-2021-1305 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

An unsafe deserialization vulnerability exists in the ObjectManager.plugin Project.get_MissingTypes() functionality of CODESYS GmbH CODESYS Development System 3.5.16 and 3.5.17. A specially crafted file can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2021-21867: TALOS-2021-1304 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

An unsafe deserialization vulnerability exists in the ObjectManager.plugin ObjectStream.ProfileByteArray functionality of CODESYS GmbH CODESYS Development System 3.5.16 and 3.5.17. A specially crafted file can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2021-21837: TALOS-2021-1297 || Cisco Talos Intelligence Group

Multiple exploitable integer overflow vulnerabilities exist within the MPEG-4 decoding functionality of the GPAC Project on Advanced Content library v1.0.1. A specially crafted MPEG-4 input can cause an integer overflow due to unchecked arithmetic resulting in a heap-based buffer overflow that causes memory corruption. An attacker can convince a user to open a video to trigger this vulnerability.
