GHSA-r4f8-f93x-5qh3: TYPO3 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting via frontend rendering

> ### CVSS: `CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:H/A:L/E:F/RL:O/RC:C` (8.2) ### Problem TYPO3 core component `GeneralUtility::getIndpEnv()` uses the unfiltered server environment variable `PATH_INFO`, which allows attackers to inject malicious content. In combination with the TypoScript setting [`config.absRefPrefix=auto`](https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/blob/v11.5.22/typo3/sysext/frontend/Classes/Controller/TypoScriptFrontendController.php#L2547-L2549), attackers can inject malicious HTML code into pages that have not yet been rendered and cached. As a result, injected values would be cached and delivered to other website visitors (persisted cross-site scripting). Individual code which relies on the resolved value of [`GeneralUtility::getIndpEnv('SCRIPT_NAME')`](https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/blob/v11.5.22/typo3/sysext/core/Classes/Utility/GeneralUtility.php#L2481-L2484) and corresponding usages (as shown below) are vulnerable as well. - `GeneralUtility::getIndpEnv('PATH_INFO') ...

CVE-2023-25151: opentelemetry-go/http.go at v1.12.0 · open-telemetry/opentelemetry-go

opentelemetry-go-contrib is a collection of extensions for OpenTelemetry-Go. The v0.38.0 release of `go.opentelemetry.io/contrib/instrumentation/net/http/otelhttp` uses the `httpconv.ServerRequest` function to annotate metric measurements for the `http.server.request_content_length`, `http.server.response_content_length`, and `http.server.duration` instruments. The `ServerRequest` function sets the `http.target` attribute value to be the whole request URI (including the query string)[^1]. The metric instruments do not "forget" previous measurement attributes when `cumulative` temporality is used, this means the cardinality of the measurements allocated is directly correlated with the unique URIs handled. If the query string is constantly random, this will result in a constant increase in memory allocation that can be used in a denial-of-service attack. This issue has been addressed in version 0.39.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.

CVE-2022-35720: Security Bulletin: IBM Sterling Secure Proxy vulnerable to multiple issues

IBM Sterling External Authentication Server 6.1.0 and IBM Sterling Secure Proxy 6.0.3 uses weaker than expected cryptographic algorithms during installation that could allow a local attacker to decrypt sensitive information. IBM X-Force ID: 231373.

ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus Unauthenticated SAML Remote Code Execution

This Metasploit module exploits an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability that affects Zoho ManageEngine AdSelfService Plus versions 6210 and below. Due to a dependency to an outdated library (Apache Santuario version 1.4.1), it is possible to execute arbitrary code by providing a crafted samlResponse XML to the ADSelfService Plus SAML endpoint. Note that the target is only vulnerable if it has been configured with SAML-based SSO at least once in the past, regardless of the current SAML-based SSO status.

Nagios XI 5.7.5 Remote Code Execution

This Metasploit module exploits CVE-2021-25296, CVE-2021-25297, and CVE-2021-25298, which are OS command injection vulnerabilities in the windowswmi, switch, and cloud-vm configuration wizards that allow an authenticated user to perform remote code execution on Nagios XI versions 5.5.6 to 5.7.5 as the apache user. Valid credentials for a Nagios XI user are required. This module has been successfully tested against official NagiosXI OVAs versions 5.5.6 through 5.7.5.

CVE-2023-24828: Fix issue #1179 - OneDev should use crypto strong random string for a… · theonedev/onedev@d67dd96

Onedev is a self-hosted Git Server with CI/CD and Kanban. In versions prior to 7.9.12 the algorithm used to generate access token and password reset keys was not cryptographically secure. Existing normal users (or everyone if it allows self-registration) may exploit this to elevate privilege to obtain administrator permission. This issue is has been addressed in version 7.9.12. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

CVE-2022-47419: Multiple DMS XSS (CVE-2022-47412 through CVE-20222-47419)

An XSS vulnerability was discovered in the Mayan EDMS DMS. Successful XSS exploitation was observed in the in-product tagging system.

GHSA-26f8-x7cc-wqpc: Apache Kafka Connect vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data

A possible security vulnerability has been identified in Apache Kafka Connect. This requires access to a Kafka Connect worker, and the ability to create/modify connectors on it with an arbitrary Kafka client SASL JAAS config and a SASL-based security protocol, which has been possible on Kafka Connect clusters since Apache Kafka 2.3.0. When configuring the connector via the Kafka Connect REST API, an authenticated operator can set the `sasl.jaas.config` property for any of the connector's Kafka clients to "com.sun.security.auth.module.JndiLoginModule", which can be done via the `producer.override.sasl.jaas.config`, `consumer.override.sasl.jaas.config`, or `admin.override.sasl.jaas.config` properties. This will allow the server to connect to the attacker's LDAP server and deserialize the LDAP response, which the attacker can use to execute java deserialization gadget chains on the Kafka connect server. Attacker can cause unrestricted deserialization of untrusted data (or) RCE vulnerabili...

CVE-2023-24814: Important Security-Bulletin Pre-Announcement

TYPO3 is a free and open source Content Management Framework released under the GNU General Public License. In affected versions the TYPO3 core component `GeneralUtility::getIndpEnv()` uses the unfiltered server environment variable `PATH_INFO`, which allows attackers to inject malicious content. In combination with the TypoScript setting `config.absRefPrefix=auto`, attackers can inject malicious HTML code to pages that have not been rendered and cached, yet. As a result, injected values would be cached and delivered to other website visitors (persisted cross-site scripting). Individual code which relies on the resolved value of `GeneralUtility::getIndpEnv('SCRIPT_NAME')` and corresponding usages (as shown below) are vulnerable as well. Additional investigations confirmed that at least Apache web server deployments using CGI (FPM, FCGI/FastCGI, and similar) are affected. However, there still might be the risk that other scenarios like nginx, IIS, or Apache/mod_php are vulnerable. The u...
