CVE-2023-35945: nghttp2/lib/nghttp2_session.c at e7f59406556c80904b81b593d38508591bb7523a · nghttp2/nghttp2

Envoy is a cloud-native high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. Envoy’s HTTP/2 codec may leak a header map and bookkeeping structures upon receiving `RST_STREAM` immediately followed by the `GOAWAY` frames from an upstream server. In nghttp2, cleanup of pending requests due to receipt of the `GOAWAY` frame skips de-allocation of the bookkeeping structure and pending compressed header. The error return [code path] is taken if connection is already marked for not sending more requests due to `GOAWAY` frame. The clean-up code is right after the return statement, causing memory leak. Denial of service through memory exhaustion. This vulnerability was patched in versions(s) 1.26.3, 1.25.8, 1.24.9, 1.23.11.

CVE-2023-37598: GitHub - sahiloj/CVE-2023-37598: CSRF vulnerability in issabel-pbx v.4.0.0-6 to delete any new virtual fax of users

A Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in issabel-pbx v.4.0.0-6 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the delete new virtual fax function.

CVE-2023-37463: Quadratic complexity bugs may lead to a denial of service

cmark-gfm is an extended version of the C reference implementation of CommonMark, a rationalized version of Markdown syntax with a spec. Three polynomial time complexity issues in cmark-gfm may lead to unbounded resource exhaustion and subsequent denial of service. These vulnerabilities have been patched in 0.29.0.gfm.12.

CVE-2023-33768: Wemo Smart Plug (Simple Setup Smart Outlet for Smart Home, Control Lights and Devices Remotely Works w/Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit)(Pack of 1) - - Amazon.com

Incorrect signature verification of the firmware during the Device Firmware Update process of Belkin Wemo Smart Plug WSP080 v1.2 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted firmware file.

Uncovering weaknesses in Apple macOS and VMWare vCenter: 12 vulnerabilities in RPC implementation

Uncovered issues fall into use-after-free, buffer-overflow, information leak and denial of service vulnerability classes. Some of these could be combined to achieve remote code execution or privilege escalation.

Ubuntu Security Notice USN-6228-1

Ubuntu Security Notice 6228-1 - It was discovered that the XFS file system implementation in the Linux kernel did not properly perform metadata validation when mounting certain images. An attacker could use this to specially craft a file system image that, when mounted, could cause a denial of service. Wei Chen discovered that the InfiniBand RDMA communication manager implementation in the Linux kernel contained an out-of-bounds read vulnerability. A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service.

Ubuntu Security Notice USN-6227-1

Ubuntu Security Notice 6227-1 - Several security issues were discovered in the SpiderMonkey JavaScript library. If a user were tricked into opening malicious JavaScript applications or processing malformed data, a remote attacker could exploit a variety of issues related to JavaScript security, including denial of service attacks, and arbitrary code execution.

Ubuntu Security Notice USN-6226-1

Ubuntu Security Notice 6226-1 - It was discovered that SciPy did not properly manage memory operations during reference counting. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. A use-after-free was discovered in SciPy when handling reference counts. An attacker could possibly use this to cause a denial of service. This issue only affected Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Ubuntu Security Notice USN-6225-1

Ubuntu Security Notice 6225-1 - It was discovered that Knot Resolver did not correctly handle certain client options. A remote attacker could send requests to malicious domains and cause a denial of service.
