In October 2023, Red Hat Product Security announced the publishing of Vulnerability Exploitability eXchange (VEX) files, in beta form, for every single CVE ID that is recorded in the Red Hat CVE Database. Since then, we have actively collected feedback from our customers and discussed the best implementation with security scanning vendors. With this valuable input, we have worked on improving the production version of the files. We are pleased to announce that the VEX files are now ready for public consumption in production use cases. You can find these files in the following location:https://a
Microsoft Corp. today issued software updates to plug 139 security holes in various flavors of Windows and other Microsoft products. Redmond says attackers are already exploiting at least two of the vulnerabilities in active attacks against Windows users.

Cybersecurity researchers have discovered a security vulnerability in the RADIUS network authentication protocol called BlastRADIUS that could be exploited by an attacker to stage Mallory-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks and bypass integrity checks under certain circumstances. "The RADIUS protocol allows certain Access-Request messages to have no integrity or authentication checks," InkBridge
In recent months, a surge in cryptodrainer phishing attacks has been observed, targeting cryptocurrency holders with sophisticated schemes aimed at tricking them into divulging their valuable credentials.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY CVSS v4 8.4 ATTENTION: Low attack complexity Vendor: Delta Electronics Equipment: CNCSoft-G2 Vulnerabilities: Stack-based Buffer Overflow, Out-of-bounds Write, Out-of-bounds Read, Heap-based Buffer Overflow 2. RISK EVALUATION Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could cause a buffer overflow condition and allow remote code execution. 3. TECHNICAL DETAILS 3.1 AFFECTED PRODUCTS The following versions of Delta Electronics CNCSoft-G2, a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software, are affected: CNCSoft-G2: Version 2.0.0.5 3.2 Vulnerability Overview 3.2.1 STACK-BASED BUFFER OVERFLOW CWE-121 Delta Electronics CNCSoft-G2 lacks proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. If a target visits a malicious page or opens a malicious file an attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. CVE-2024-39880 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVS...
**Are there any further actions I need to take to be protected from this vulnerability?** Yes. The Windows Smart Card infrastructure relies on the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) and Key Storage Provider (KSP) to isolate cryptographic operations from the Smart Card implementation. The KSP is part of the Crypto Next Generation (CNG) architecture and is intended to support modern smart cards. In the case of RSA based certificates, the Smart Card Certificate Propagation service automatically overrides the default and uses the CSP instead of the KSP. This limits usage to the cryptography provided by the CSP and does not benefit from the modern cryptography provided by the KSP. Beginning with the July 2024 security updates released on July 9, 2024, this vulnerability will be addressed by removing the RSA override and using the KSP as the default. This change is initially disabled by default to allow customers to test it in their environment and to detect any application compatibility...
