The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) on Thursday added three security flaws to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog based on evidence of active exploitation in the wild. The vulnerabilities are as follows - CVE-2023-36584 (CVSS score: 5.4) - Microsoft Windows Mark-of-the-Web (MotW) Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability CVE-2023-1671 (CVSS score: 9.8) -
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 9.0.7 and 9.1.2, Splunk Enterprise does not safely sanitize extensible stylesheet language transformations (XSLT) that users supply. This means that an attacker can upload malicious XSLT which can result in remote code execution on the Splunk Enterprise instance.
Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
H2O included a reference to an S3 bucket that no longer existed allowing an attacker to take over the S3 bucket URL.
An attacker is able to steal secrets and potentially gain remote code execution via CSRF using the Prefect API.
An attacker is able to gain remote code execution on a server hosting the H2O dashboard through it's POJO model import feature.
Red Hat Security Advisory 2023-7288-01 - An update for Openshift Jenkins is now available for Red Hat Product OCP Tools 4.14. Issues addressed include bypass, code execution, cross site scripting, and denial of service vulnerabilities.
