CVE-2023-33137: Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

CVE-2023-24897: .NET, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

**According to the CVSS metric, the attack vector is local (AV:L). Why does the CVE title indicate that this is a remote code execution?** The word **Remote** in the title refers to the location of the attacker. This type of exploit is sometimes referred to as Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE). The attack itself is carried out locally. For example, when the score indicates that the **Attack Vector** is **Local** and **User Interaction** is **Required**, this could describe an exploit in which an attacker, through social engineering, convinces a victim to download and open a specially crafted file from a website which leads to a local attack on their computer.

MOVEit Transfer SQL Injection / Remote Code Execution

This proof of concept abuses an SQL injection vulnerability in MOVEit to obtain a sysadmin API access token and then use that access to abuse a deserialization call to obtain remote code execution. This proof of concept needs to reach out to an Identity Provider endpoint which hosts proper RS256 certificates used to forge arbitrary user tokens - by default this POC uses horizon3ai's IDP endpoint hosted in AWS. By default, the exploit will write a file to C:\Windows\Temp\message.txt. Alternative payloads can be generated by using the ysoserial.net project.

CVE-2023-33626: IoT/D-Link/DIR-600/overflow at main · naihsin/IoT

D-Link DIR-600 Hardware Version B5, Firmware Version 2.18 was discovered to contain a stack overflow via the gena.cgi binary.

CVE-2023-34105: srs/server.go at 1d11d02e4b82fc3f37e4b048cff483b1581482c1 · ossrs/srs

SRS is a real-time video server supporting RTMP, WebRTC, HLS, HTTP-FLV, SRT, MPEG-DASH, and GB28181. Prior to versions 5.0.157, 5.0-b1, and 6.0.48, SRS's `api-server` server is vulnerable to a drive-by command injection. An attacker may send a request to the `/api/v1/snapshots` endpoint containing any commands to be executed as part of the body of the POST request. This issue may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). Versions 5.0.157, 5.0-b1, and 6.0.48 contain a fix.

CVE-2023-34468: Apache NiFi Security Reports

The DBCPConnectionPool and HikariCPConnectionPool Controller Services in Apache NiFi 0.0.2 through 1.21.0 allow an authenticated and authorized user to configure a Database URL with the H2 driver that enables custom code execution. The resolution validates the Database URL and rejects H2 JDBC locations. You are recommended to upgrade to version 1.22.0 or later which fixes this issue.

CVE-2023-33253: LabCollector - All-in-one Lab Notebook and Management Platform _ Free LIMS

LabCollector 6.0 though 6.15 allows remote code execution. An authenticated remote low-privileged user can upload an executable PHP file and execute system commands. The vulnerability is in the message function, and is due to insufficient validation of the file (such as shell.jpg.php.shell) being sent.

Critical RCE Flaw Discovered in Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls - Patch Now!

Fortinet has released patches to address a critical security flaw in its FortiGate firewalls that could be abused by a threat actor to achieve remote code execution. The vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2023-27997, is "reachable pre-authentication, on every SSL VPN appliance," Lexfo Security researcher Charles Fol, who discovered and reported the flaw, said in a tweet over the weekend.
